Clint and fellow TSSAA Hall of Fame inductee and Memphian Ike White, Ike had the honor of pinning Clint.
Clint was recognized as a distinguished educator coach and administrator. He earned a Master's degree in Athletics Administration from Memphis State University.
In Addition, solidified his leadership skills by attending the prestigious Principal's Institute at Harvard University.
He has served in many capacities at schools in Memphis,teaching at Northside High, Sheffield High,then transitioned to administration. Clint was the assistant principal at Lanier Junior High and interim principal at Mitchell High, Orleans Elementary, Coro Lake Elementary, and Ida B. Wells Academy.
He served as principal of Fairley High from 1999 to 2010.
Clint served on the TSSAA Legislative Council from 2007 to 2011contributing to the governance of high school sports in Tennessee.
In 2013 our fellow Memphian was the Director of Athletics at Lemony-Owen College, and remained in that capacity until retirement in 2021
Fellow Memphians were present to witness this most auspicious occasion. In addition to Brother Ike White attending the Hall of Fame Luncheon and Ceremony at MTSU in Murfreesboro TN, President Dr. Anthony Boyce Canada, Brothers Eddie Walsh Sr., Patrick Newman, William Young, and Edgar Hampton, were on hand to show support.
